On Sunday 19 October afternoon, we as a Benefice and Huddersfield Deanery gathered together to celebrate with those being baptised, welcomed into the Anglican church and confirmed.
The church was full of people from a number of churches across Huddersfield there to support their church members on this special occasion.
Bishop Smitha presided over the service. There were over 20 candidates for confirmation, alongside one baptism and one person joining the Anglican Church. It was a joyful occasion for all involved and so good to worship with our fellow Christians from across the deanery.
Dan from St. Bartholomew’s Marsden and Debbie and Flynn from St. James Slaithwaite were confirmed.
