Shred Treasure Hunt

This Hunt (without collecting treasure) can be a lovely walk for everyone during the month of July. (You could still go after this, but one or two clues could be missing.) Some of the answers to the clues could be from the Old or the New Testaments of the bible. Some answers relate to Old Slaithwaite and some to New Slaithwaite; clues can be solved by adults (old!) and children (new-ish!) GOOD LUCK.

Did you know that where Aldi stands in Slaithwaite today, the old Corn Mill was on this site? The mill changed hands many times within the textile trade and was often referred to as ‘Owd Walls’ (Wallets) after one proprietor who paid all his bills from an old leather bag held by a strap over his shoulder!
